Traumaplant is formulated with the clinically studied comfrey plant (Symphytum x uplandicum). Comfrey has a long tradition as a medicinal plant. Traumaplant is a highly concentrated comfrey cream made with 10% active ingredients. In general, the effects of comfrey extracts can be described as pain relieving, with anti-inflammatory properties & promoting callus formation.¹

While other comfrey products often contain comfrey root extract, Traumaplant is made with the flowering parts of the plant. This is the reason why Traumaplant is a white & stain-free product. The comfrey used in Traumaplant is a patented variety that is free of pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs). 100 g Traumaplant Comfrey Cream corresponds to 25 g of the medicinal plant Symphytum & 10 g concentrate.

Apply small amounts of steroid-free Traumaplant to broken skin, sore muscles, ligament pain & sprains due to sports injuries. Use Traumaplant for acute upper or low back pain, to help speed healing of abrasions & achieve Freedom of Movement.

Medicinal ingredient:
Symphytum x uplandicum (Blue Comfrey) 10% (w/w), leaf/stem/flower extract (2-3:1).

Non-medicinal ingredients:
Purified water, Glyceryl stearate, PEG-20 glyceryl stearate, Isopropyl myristate, Propylene glycol, Octyldodecanol,
Dimethicone, Sorbic acid, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Essential Oil, all-rac-alpha-Tocopheryl acetate, Citric acid,
Glycol salicylate.

Dosage:
For wound healing: 1 application daily, for a period of 7 days. Cover the wound with a sterile dressing.

For muscle pain (Adults & children 3 years & older): 3 applications daily, for up to 2 weeks.
For muscle pain (Adults only): 4-5 applications daily, for up to 2 weeks.
For children (3-12 years), application should be supervised by an adult.
